A Little bit more....

Hi! My name is Jodie and I started Bee Sweets in 2021, I love to push myself to do as much as I can to be self sufficient, from raising pigs and chickens, to building a big garden and now harvesting out own beeswax and honey!  I was excited about the honey at first but then I discovered all that beeswax can do, I have three growing boys at home and the benefits were defiantly intriguing!  I hope that out little shop can bring some of the benefits into your home as well!  

For the candles, by the way who knew that candles were actually helpful!  Beeswax is a natural ionizer that produces negative ions when it is burned attaching itself to dust, pollen, mold, odour and toxins floating in the air. The pollutants are then eliminated, improving air quality and easing allergy and asthma symptoms. Our 100% pure beeswax candles burn longer and cleaner with little smoke when trimmed properly. We use 100% cotton wicks and they should be trimmed to 5mm before each burn and kept away from drafts. We hand pour all of our candles and do our best to eliminate all blemishes and imperfections. We suggest burning your candles for a minimum of 2 hours but no longer than 4 hours to get the best melting results. All our products are free from paraffin, synthetic fragrance oils, toxic chemicals, parabens and phthalates Beeswax candles give off a warm glow and burn with a natural light within the same spectrum of the sun.  

And now the chapstick, which I am a big user of and finally have one that doesn't build up, any one who uses as much as I do knows how bad that can be, the only downside is keeping one just for me because my boys and my husband love it too!! Beeswax is anti fungal, antiviral, antiseptic and has antibacterial properties, it also acts as a natural exfoliator and provides a barrier to protect skin and lock in moisture while still letting the skin breathe. Beeswax contains Vitamin A, which helps to improve healing, reduces wrinkles, protects the skin against UV radiation and stimulates skin cell turnover. In our lip balm and skin products we only use organic, unrefined, cold pressed ingredients, beeswax, coconut oil, cacao butter, vitamin E, jojoba oil, almond oil, essential oils, tea tree oil
